Empowering Single-Mother Families in Uttar Pradesh through Education
In the remote villages of Uttar Pradesh, India, many single mothers face significant challenges in providing education for their children due to financial constraints. Recognizing this, the Flying Angel Charity (FAC) has been actively supporting such families since April 2019. By collaborating with local organizations like SUTRA, FAC offers scholarships that cover school fees, ensuring that children from single-mother households have access to quality education.
This initiative has profoundly impacted numerous families, enabling children to attend school and pursue their dreams without the burden of financial limitations. For instance, in April 2024, FAC supported 28 underprivileged children from single-woman households, providing them with the opportunity to continue their education. Such efforts not only enhance the children's academic prospects but also empower their mothers to aspire for a brighter future, breaking the cycle of poverty and fostering hope within the community.
